Indications of Tosillectomy

Here is a mnemonic submitted from another very useful medical mnemonics website named "ARTERIOLES"

Tonsillectomy is indicated when a Tonsil 'HARMS'

Hypertrophy with hoarseness
Abscess (Peritonsillar - Quinsy)
Recurrent sore throat
Malignancy is suspected
Seizures (Febrile seizures due to Tonsillitis)
